Dear Parishioners,

The Celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord and the Christmas Season invite us year after year to make room in our hearts so that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the only begotten Son of God can again be born into this world.

The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. (Luke 2: 10-11)

Our hearts need to be that humble stable in Bethlehem where Jesus is born.  For, the world still needs to hear the Angels’ tidings of great joy and see the miracle of Jesus’ birth reflected in every Christian’s heart; so that, his love and forgiveness are made an ever present reality.

It is so easy, as each New Year unfolds, to fill our hearts and lives with worldly concerns, worries, disappointments, anxiety and even sorrow; so much so, that Mary can find no lodging where she can give birth to her Son.  But, the angels’ message is still the same: “Do not be afraid”, all these things pass.  Emmanuel, which means “God is with us” (Matthew 1:23) is born again this Christmas. And, Jesus’ words of encouragement ring through the ages: “behold, I am with you always, until the end of time.” (Matthew 28:20)

Let us rejoice then this Christmas; for, Our Lord came so that we “might have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10)!

We look forward to celebrating with you the blessing of God’s love and forgiveness at our Penance Service and Christmas Masses at St. Elizabeth’s Parish

Have a Blessed Christmas!

Our Mission

Today's youth are confronted with many competing voices about who they are and where they belong in society, the world and in their relationship with God. TLC Life Teen seeks to:

• Empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ by providing opportunities that allow them to express their faith through their own words and actions.

• Encourage youth participation in the life, community and mission of the Catholic Church.

• Foster personal and spiritual growth of all members.

What is TLC Life Teen?

TLC Life Teen provides experiences that will foster faith growth and build long lasting friendships. The faith-filled environment encourages the young people (grades 8-12) to build community and prepare to become adults in their faith.
